I’m very delighted to announce this wonderful giveaway very kindly sponsored by artist Jessica Zoob. If you read my last post, you know that I visited Jessica at the preview of her latest painting which captures a moment of pure happiness. I was going to choose the print for you, but then decided against it.
It’s the start of a new season. After all the excitement of there being enough snow for sledging here in Lewes, I’m hopeful spring is finally on its way. It’s a great time to collect thoughts and plan new adventures. With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I’ve been considering what giving thoughtfully means to me. Here are few tips that may help you along the way.
Winter has well and truly started this week with snow in many parts of the country. It was such a shame that it didn’t come all the way down to Lewes. I love this time of the year with its frosty mornings, weekends venturing outside and then coming back inside to snuggle up and watch a family movie. On one of our days out we visited a very unique place. Based in a beautiful ancient oak-framed barn at the Wood Yard just near the old Stopham bridge, within the South Downs National Park.
The weather has suddenly turned and it seems much earlier than last year. The sun still feels very warm, but evenings are starting to feel cooler and days are slowly getting shorter. What I love about the seasonal transition into autumn is how nature changes, the colours and smells and also the beautiful seed heads and fruits appearing everywhere.
was very excited when I received an invitation to the preview of Jessica Zoob’s latest oil painting, which is also her largest. I adore her work, which is inspired by the unique landscapes and soothing nature around her, and beautiful memories of her travels. She creates her amazing impressionist paintings in her magical and light filled studio just outside of Lewes.
