Ceramic Everyday Beaker | Indigo Stripe
This beautiful hand-thrown ceramic beaker is a versatile piece for everyday use. Made from stoneware clay in Sussex, it features a distinctive indigo and white stripe glaze, with a tactile contrast between the smooth glazed surface and the natural texture of the raw clay.
Perfect for coffee, water or whatever you fancy, the simple shape makes this a lovely addition to your kitchen cupboard or table. Each beaker is individually made by hand, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
The beakers are fired twice, first at 1000°C for the bisque firing and then at 1260°C for the glaze firing. The result is a hard-wearing piece designed for everyday use.

About the Maker
Windmill Pottery was founded by ceramicist Anna Sandberg in 2015. Based in the Sussex countryside overlooking Ashdown Forest, the studio creates functional, hand-thrown pottery designed for everyday life.
Anna works with stoneware clay on the wheel, mixing pigments to create a distinctive palette for her pieces. Her work is inspired by her Swedish roots, with simplicity, generosity of form and a soft spot for stripes at the heart of her designs. The pieces are fired to over 1200°C, creating durable pottery suitable for everyday use.
OUR SERVICE
We carefully gift wrap every order using uncoated recycled paper from sustainable sources and vegetable oil-based inks. Orders are packed in eco-friendly packaging and dispatched within 2–3 working days by Royal Mail or courier.
You’ll receive an email when your order has been wrapped and dispatched. Please note that during particularly busy periods, dispatch may take a little longer.
